Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Screen Mouse Recorder ("the Service") you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service records the content you choose to record (tab, window or screen, with optional webcam/microphone) and provides local editing, export, and optional cloud storage. You are responsible for the content you record and for having the necessary rights and consents, including in regulated contexts (e.g. employee/employer or screen-sharing environments).

3. Free trial and anonymous use

• Anonymous usage includes a limited number of free recordings, enforced per device through a non-identifiable hash. Anonymous cloud recordings are deleted after 24 hours.
• A free trial of the Pro plan is offered for a limited period as displayed at checkout. During the trial you get Pro features; after it ends, you are billed unless you cancel.

4. Pro subscription (Paddle)

Subscriptions are sold by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Prices and billing cycles are shown at checkout in US dollars (USD). By subscribing you authorize Paddle to collect the recurring fee. You can cancel at any time from your Paddle checkout/customer portal; cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period. Refund policy: as required by Paddle's terms for digital subscriptions.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to infringe rights, record content you are not permitted to record, distribute unlawful or infringing recordings, circumvent the quota/payment system, or use automated means to abuse our backend.

6. Intellectual property

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service. The Service (including branding and the extension code) remains owned by NexumAI Core. Your recordings and account data remain yours.

7. Availability and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may update or discontinue features. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the last 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (e.g. lost recordings — keep your own backups).

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend access for abuse, fraud or breach of these terms. Deleting your account does not automatically delete videos you previously published; contact support for full deletion.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to NexumAI Core (Spain). If any provision is invalid, the rest remains in force. Questions: Support.
